Read the word of God.

Are you reading the Word of God? Are you spending time in the Word of God? Why is the Word of God important in our lives? Are we applying the word of God to our daily lives?

What is the word of God? God's word is a divine message released by God. The word of God is very important in our lives. We need to establish ourselves in the word of God. Many of us want to walk the way of Christ, but we do not abide in the things of God.

John 1:1

" In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

The word of God is God himself. If we receive the word of God, we are accepting God in our lives. It's imperative as children of God, to be building ourselves daily with the word of God. Often, we complain that we are too busy, or that we do not have time, or we are just being lazy. As children of God, we need to stand firm on the word of God. It nourishes and enhances our spirit man. We need to sacrifice and create time for God.

Sometimes, we  just need to be disciplined and organized in the things of God. We need to learn to read, study, and meditate on the word, and let the word speak to us. Remember God speaks to you through his word.

When the word of God is in us, the enemy cannot stand our presence. The word of God possesses authority, power, deliverance, healing, restoration, etc. It is the light of the world. God's word is not an error but a promise he has made. Nothing that is written in the book of life is false. For our God is truth and light.

Children of  God,  let the Word of God be your foundation. Let it be with us always. Let us make it our daily meal. Eat the Word, so that you will never be thirsty or hungry again. As we read the Word of God, may we also apply it to our daily lives in Jesus name. Amen

James 1:22

"Do not merely read the word of God but do what it says to do."

  Let's establish ourselves in the word. Let the Word of God be our pillar and strong tower. Without the Word of God, we will be empty and unfruitful. The word of God enriches and enhances our spiritual growth. It is a blessing to be enveloped by God's Word. From today, tell yourself;

"I am a child of God and created in his own image and likeness. I can't live without the foundation of Christ, for the Word of God is light and life."

**Word of God is now my new foundation, since my old foundation is rotten! ( Psalm 11:3) Amen!!!

Are you a complainer?

Phillipians 2:14

"Do all things without grumbling or questioning."

When I started writing about this topic, I laughed so hard because it pertains to me. It was so funny in the sense, I felt so guilt-ridden, children of God. Why are we complainers? Why do we often complain at any given opportunity? Is it an attitude we develop or is it just part of human nature? Does it mean, we need to condone it?

Every so often, as children of God, we complain so much we forget about the alternative. There are times, things do not go as planned or expected  and the first word that's pronounce out of our mouth is: Why? How? What? Who?

Once upon a time, I complained when faced with challenges and the first words that would come out of my mouth would be "why did you allow it ? Who was supposed to do this? As I grew older, I realized it wasn't healthy for me. Indeed, complaining would lead to frustration, desperation, anger, uncertainty, etc

  Ecclesiastes 5:3

"For a dream comes with much business, and a fool's voice with many words."

Excessive complains about the same issue over and over, leads to not being able  to visualize things from a different perspective. The reason why, is beacuse we tend to complain so much that our focus is not deviated from what we are complaining about. It's vital, we understand things would not always work as planned or expected. Every now and then it could also work for our good.

    Isaiah 55:8

"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the LORD. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine."

If we ask ourselves this question, it would help us from being peevish. Why do I keep complaining about this? Am I asking the right questions? Am I looking at it from a different angle? Did I put God first in my decision making? Was I quick to react? What mindset was I in before decision was made?

It's imperative we understand complaining does not solve the situation, but aggravate it sometimes. Don't be a complainer. Learn to take your complains to God. Change your attitude about complaining. Often, we complain to people and there is no solution, whereas  there is a God who gives solution for everything. We should learn to rely and trust in God. He is the answer to all problems. Man cannot give you what you seek. Remember our God is a God of impossibilities.

I pray we will start turning all our complains into prayers in Jesus name. Amen

Positive Mindset

Proverbs 17:22

"A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."

What is the role of having a positive mindset at all times? Do you have control over your mindset? Is your mindset a battle ground for the enemy? What can you do to improve your mindset?

As children of God, the way we recollect things in our minds, plays a huge role in our daily lives. Our state of mind is determined by how we react to certain situations. However, it might also affect the way we ponder or discern the things of life. Often times, we are faced certain situations, which can either subject us to a particular mood depending on the situation at hand. So, it's imperative we examine the mood we are in before taking action.

Periodically, we do not understand the importance of having a positive mind. A mind full of positivity brings so much joy and peace in our lives. It opens doors to great opportunities. It increases our wisdom and potential. It improves our God's divine purpose. It develops an open mind and a spirit of patience. It creates positive attributes which helps in the growth and success of God's divine plan.

Moreover having a negative mind hinders us from a lot of things in life. A negative mind stops us from thinking foward. The attributes that triggers a negative mindset are: pride, anger, fear, failures, self esteem, etc. When one possesses a negative mindset, it stops one from moving forward. It makes one to think all hope is lost. It allows ones past and failures to have a stronghold over you. It limits us from seeing God's plan for our lives. It creates stagnancy and non-progression. It delays growth in other areas such as: finances, marriage, health, job, divine calling, family etc. When our mindset is so negative, it allows an open access for the enemy to penetrate.

As children of God, it's of utmost importance, to develop a positive mindset. For our God cannot move where there is confusion. It's essential as believers to overcome the things of life with a positive  mindset no matter the circumstance we find ourselves in. To have a successful life, we need to establish a positive mindset alongside with a persistent attitude.

Romans 8:28

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."

In life we need to understand that things will not always go as planned. If it doesn't go our way, our reaction towards that situation soley depends on us. Don't give room for the enemy to manipulate you. Remember as a child of God, you should know that in the book of Matthew 19:26, it is written that "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." He does all things for our good not against. Always have a positive mind. Learn to develop, build and equip your mind. Let your mindset be fed with the word of God daily as the flesh is consistently fed with food daily. I pray our God open our minds and heart to receive his love and Faith in Jesus Name Amen. Remember our ways are not his ways. Isaiah  55:8-9.

Happy Mother's Day

Psalm 139:13

"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb."

This is dedicated to all women, which at the time of birth came out of their mother's woman being already a mother whether she birthed a child or not. Women plays the role of a mother daily, because they were created with maternal intincts.

Psalm 113:9

"He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the LORD."

Women were groomed to be mothers from the time God formed them in their mother's womb. We are here to celebrate the gift of motherhood. From the day, we were formed in our mother's womb, we were called daughters, later grew into a woman. From woman to a wife, to a mother. We are similarly called daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grand-daughter and many more. Nevertheless, we are called daughters of Zion; and highly favored and blessed. As women, we possess the qualities of a good home. We are the roots, builders, encouragers, supporters, counselor, prayer warriors, and many more. Our intuition and self-awareness makes us powerful watchers. Our presence in a home blossoms like the spring flowers. Our energy strengthens the home. Our smiles ignites peace and happiness. Oue beauty beautifies the home both in virtue and character. Our prayers secures the home. We are the image of our home. Glory to God!!!

*Our husbands call us; his Queen, his better half, his other rib, the beauty of his home,  the love of his heart, the financial advisor, the medicine to his pain, the love of his tears, my best friend, my counselor, my heart, the brain behind my wealth, my doctor, my bank account, the gift of my life, my caretaker, my chef etc.

Proverbs 18:22

"The man who finds a wife finds treasure, and he receives favor from God".

 * Your sons/daughters calls you the pillar of their lives. The one whom never leaves their site no matter how tired they are are. The counselor and adviser. The fixer of all things. The virtous woman. The caring and nurturing heart. My inspiration, motivator, role model and importantly not forgetting the woman whose words opens great doors to destinies.

Proverbs 1:8-9

"Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.

We are bold, strong, independent, wise, patient, open-minded, ambitious, loving, self- discipline, etc. We never stop working or take a day off, because our job never ends. But today I want us to take a break and treat ourself with love and gifts, not forgetting to thank God for his daily strength and grace. We are so blessed to be called women and mothers. I love you all...Enjoy kisses.

Read proverbs 31: 10-30. ( The strength of a woman)
